Welcome to XFEL Workshop 2023, held on May 31 and June 1st 2023 at Aalborg University!
It is an exciting time for XFEL science, with five facilities now available and important upgrades and new facilities coming online soon, there have never been more opportunities and possibilities to perform advanced X-ray science.
This workshop brings together Danish researchers and scientists from XFEL facilities to discuss past experiences, new opportunities and new ideas for research using the ultrabright and ultrashort X-ray flashes provided by these exciting new X-ray sources. We particularly encourage people who do not currently use XFELs, but are interested to learn about the opportunities they can provide, to attend. The workshop immediate precedes the DanScatt Annual Meeting at the same location.
New for 2023: This year’s poster session is sponsored by 4photonics. We strongly encourage poster contributions and this year we will hold a poster slam, in addition to the poster session, where you can present a 1 minute summary of your poster.
