ILL/ESRF International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science

The ILL/ESRF International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science is aimed at undergraduate students. It will consist in a 4-week: from September 1 to September 28, 2024, experimental project embedded in a research group of ILL or ESRF, together with a series of introductory lectures on the principles and applications of X-ray and neutron science (magnetism, materials science, soft matter, structural biology, imaging, etc.).
The school will be hosted by the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) and the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) located on the European Photon and Neutron (EPN) campus in Grenoble, France. Please find more information on EPN campus and tourism office below.
